Some websites list different birthdays, including dates in March and December. Those pages often copy each other and rarely cite sources. Wikipedia and Wikiquote agree on October 28, 2002, so this article uses that date. Always check where a site got its facts before you trust it. You can also calculate her age yourself. Subtract 2002 from the current year, then subtract one more year if October 28 has not passed yet. In 2026, that gives 24 minus 1, which equals 23.

Lola Tung Age in Each Season of The Summer I Turned Pretty

Lola Tung’s age in Season 1 was 19 when the show premiered on June 17, 2022. Producers announced her casting in April 2021, when she was 18 and studying at Carnegie Mellon University. She filmed the season in 2021, so her age when filming The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 1 was 18, and she turned 19 that October. 1. Start with her birth year, 2002.
2. Subtract it from the year you are checking.
3. Subtract one more year if the date falls before October 28.

Lola Tung Age vs. Belly Conklin and Chris Briney’s Age

Belly Conklin is 15 when the series opens, but Tung was 18 during Season 1 production. That gap is common in teen television. Studios often cast actors slightly older than their characters, partly because minors face strict work-hour limits. Tung also grew up alongside the role. Between the first and last premieres, she aged about three years in real life, and Belly moved from a shy teenager toward adulthood in the story. Viewers often notice that parallel.

Fans also search for chris briney and lola tung age to see how far apart the leads are. Christopher Briney, who plays Conrad Fisher, was born on March 24, 1998, according to most profile sites. That makes him 28 now and about four and a half years older than Tung. The gap is small enough that the two read as peers on screen. Treat his date as widely reported rather than officially confirmed.

Lola Tung Height, Nationality and Ethnicity

Tung is American. She was born and raised in New York City and graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in 2020. She then began studying acting at Carnegie Mellon University. When fans ask about lola tung nationality, the answer is simple: she holds American nationality by birth. Her ethnic background is more layered. Reference profiles describe her as an American actress of Chinese descent and list Swedish ancestry too. Some sites guess other origins without evidence.

Height is harder to pin down. Entertainment sites usually list Tung at 5 feet 6 inches, or about 168 cm. Other pages say 5 feet 4 inches. She has not confirmed an exact number in a way major outlets cite, so treat both as estimates. People often search lola tung age height together because they want a quick profile. Similar searches surround actresses such as Nicola Peltz, whose biography also combines age and reported height with details about her film and television career. The best summary is this: she is 23 and roughly 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 6. Photos beside castmates can help, but camera angles and footwear mislead.

• Nationality: American, born in New York City
• Ethnicity: Chinese and Swedish descent, per reference profiles
• Height: Reported between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches
• Education: LaGuardia High School, then Carnegie Mellon University

Lola Tung Parents and Family Background

Tung keeps her family life private. One reference page describes her mother as of Chinese and Swedish descent and her father as of Eastern European descent. Treat that as a general background note, not a detailed family history. Many fan sites print specific parent names and jobs, but we could not confirm those details in reliable reporting, so this guide leaves them out. For trustworthy information about lola tung parents, look for her own words in interviews with outlets such as The New York Times and Vanity Fair, which have profiled her.

Lola tung father is another popular search, but no credible outlet has published his name or profession. Results that do name him often contradict each other, which signals guesswork. Respect for privacy matters here, especially because Tung has chosen not to share these details widely. Use this checklist before you repeat any celebrity fact:

• Does a major outlet or the person’s own account confirm it?
• Do at least two reputable sources agree?
• Is the claim tied to a named interview or document?
• Does the page cite where its information came from?

Lola Tung Career, Agent and Agency

Tung’s career moved fast. She was a first-year acting student at Carnegie Mellon when she auditioned for Belly in early 2021. Amazon announced her as the lead on April 28, 2021, and she signed with Creative Artists Agency that September. Between Seasons 2 and 3, she made her Broadway debut as Eurydice in Hadestown in 2024. Her film work includes the witch horror movie Forbidden Fruits, released in 2026, and a role in The Young People, directed by Oz Perkins. Searches for lola tung agent and lola tung agency usually come from fans, casting professionals, or brands. The verified answer is Creative Artists Agency, commonly called CAA. Individual agent names are not published in reliable sources, and representation can change, so check CAA’s official site or industry databases for current contacts. Business inquiries should go through the agency, not her personal accounts. A film continuation of the series is also in the works, which keeps her profile high.
